Why isn’t there a Harassment Prevention course for my state?
Not all states require unique Harassment Prevention courses. Dedicated courses exist for states with specific state law requirements. These states include: California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Illinois, Maine, New York, and Washington. For other states, you can assign the United States (US) course versions, which are built around federal guidelines and best practices recognized nationwide.
What if my employees are in different states?
You can assign training based on where each employee works. Dedicated state-specific courses are available for CA, CO, CT, DE, IL, ME, NY, and WA. Employees in other US states can take the US version to stay fully compliant.
Tip for Illinois: If you have employees in Illinois, remember to assign IL (Chicago) for employees located in the City of Chicago and IL (Non-Chicago) for employees elsewhere in Illinois. The US All States version is also available, which covers mandates for all US states. This is ideal for employees who work in multiple states or for organizations that want to simplify training assignments across different locations.
Are courses updated when laws change?
Yes. All courses are regularly reviewed and updated as state or federal requirements change. Updates are automatically available in TalentLMS, so you don’t have to manage updates manually.
What languages are supported, or is there a Spanish version available?
Courses are available in multiple languages, including English, Chinese (Simplified), Chinese (Traditional), French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Russian, and Spanish. Learners can choose the language they prefer at the start of the course, so there’s no need to assign separate language-specific versions.
Can I reassign courses to ensure compliance with recurring training requirements?
Yes. You can set courses to expire after a specified period of time, which prompts the employee to retake the latest version. This helps ensure training stays current and employees are compliant, as long as your course subscription is active.
